Dust off your jerseys and assemble your squads because Sportsfest is bringing the heat with various games, including cricket, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and flag football. The teams will battle it out for championship glory and exciting prizes across multiple popular sports.
Sportsfest is more than just a competition; it’s a celebration of community, athleticism, and the rich heritage of the Kerala Club. RaP7 ball game is an innovative hybrid of Baseball and Cricket, played using rules taken from both of these popular sports and using common safety gear.
RaP7 is founded by Mr. Rajan Paul, who is an avid sports enthusiast, innovator and entrepreneur from Detroit, MI.
Basketball – June 7th, 2025 (Saturday)
Cricket – July 4th, 2025 (Friday)
Volleyball – July 26th, 2025 (Saturday)
Soccer – September 6th, 2025 (Saturday)

Sportsfest is a co-ed tournament. Female participation is required; all teams have minimum on-field requirements for each game. Teams must have a minimum of 4 female players and will need 1 or 2 (depending on the sport) female to be on court/field during play.
There will be teams registering as a full unit. Those registering individually may be added to an existing team and/or added to a newly formed team.
You do not need to be a member of Kerala Club, but all players must be from the Metro Detroit area. If you register as a full team, a certain number of players must be of Malayalee origin.
